We were once in your shoes.

All the way back in 2015, in our previous roles working in an academic institution, we had been tasked with developing eCourses and had zero knowledge of where to start.

We encountered aggressive sales people and eventually signed with a company that promised many things.

After we signed the contract, the communication stopped and we never knew what was happening with the process. We were constantly charged for "additional services" we had no knowledge of needing.

At the end of a frustrating and expensive process, we were handed a product that was useless to us, and had to spend additional money to fix the issues they created for us.

Now we're here to help you avoid our mistakes.

It wasn't until we got more hands-on ourselves that we figured out what we actually needed and managed to build it ourselves, the way that we wanted. Other companies did not offer this, so we decided to create Simple Movement - an eLearning company dedicated to:

  • eLearning that prioritizes learner retention and success - as opposed to letting clients waste money on generic and outdated content that people don’t actually learn anything from.
  • Building what clients genuinely need - not just what’s the easiest to sell.
  • Doing things right from the start - so that it doesn’t have to be done twice (and that includes being fully compliant and avoiding any regulatory slaps on the wrist).
  • Making the eLearning process easy and doing all the heavy lifting - so that those tasked with building out eLearning for their organization can get it done without it taking up ALL of their time and energy (we know you have a million other things you'd rather focus on!)

I am the President and Co-Founder of Simple Movement where we lead the charge in creating well-designed, accessible eLearning experiences. With a deep passion for serving learners and meeting organizational needs, I bring a wealth of experience in adult education, community work, accessibility, and inclusive design. My commitment to inclusivity and innovation drives the mission of Simple Movement ensuring that every learning experience is both impactful and accessible to all.

Co-founder
I have worked in digital accessibility, eLearning, adult literacy and up-skilling since 2004 as a researcher, teacher and college administrator. My passion for worker and learner growth drives my interest in creating learner-centered experiences which make an impact on the individual, their company and community.

The story behind the name
When we first started out, we were jamming on what our company would do and how we would be different. Based on our experience of other eLearning companies that felt heavy and complicated, we wanted something that would be committed to simplicity, transparency and always moving forward. Hence, Simple Movement was born.
